Officers are currently looking for two men in connection with an attempted robbery on a van this morning which was parked near to the KCOM Craven Park stadium in Hull.
A black VW Transporter van drove up next to the white Mercedes Sprinter around 9.30am in the car park near to the ground’s North Stand.
A suspect in a hoodie got out of the VW van and tried to smash one of the Mercedes windows with what was thought to be a hammer.
He was unable to, and the black van drove off. It was later found burned out nearby on Stonebridge Avenue off Preston Road.
No one was hurt, and nothing was stolen.
