A 27-year-old man is due in court today after he was charged in connection with a burglary at a shop on Newland Avenue yesterday morning, Monday 17 February.
Mateusz Wasik of Cave Street, Hull was charged with burglary last night. He was remanded in police custody overnight and is due at Hull Magistrates Court this morning.
police were called shortly before 2.30am on 17 February, with a report of a man behaving suspiciously on Edgecumbe Street.
A few minutes later police received a second call reporting a break in at a shop on Newland Avenue.
Officers attended and a man was arrested nearby.
