Grants are available to support local groups and community projects whose aims are to enhance community engagement, reduce crime and improve the lives of those living in Hull.

Value Notes
One-off grants of up to £10,000 are available.
In exceptional circumstances, a grant of a larger amount may be awarded.
Grants must be spent within 12 months of the award.
Extended Description
The Safer Hull Partnership (previously known as the Community Safety Partnership) has established this fund, which is provided by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside and administered by Hull City Council.
The fund is a limited and targeted amount of money which has been put in place by the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) to help improve the lives of people living in Hull. The funding aims to support initiatives and projects that are able to demonstrate how they can support the delivery of the Safer Hull Partnership strategic aims, outcomes and priorities.

The next deadlines for applications are 31 October 2020 and 28 February 2021.
Key Criteria
Not for profit voluntary, community or faith groups can apply.
To be eligible, all groups must:
- Be properly constituted with a clause which demonstrates that members will both benefit on the winding up of the organisation.
- Be open and accessible to the community it serves.
- Have a planned approach to safeguarding issues, if working with children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Be based in Hull.
- Have a bank account in the name of the organisation.
Higher priority will be given to:
- Small community groups, defined as those having an income of less than £20,000 per year and no paid staff.
- Groups who have not received a Community Grant from the Community Safety Partnership in the past.
Lower priority will be given to:
- Groups who have received a grant in the last two years.
- Groups asking for professional fees linked to their usual, day-to-day activities.
- Groups with an unrestricted income over £100,000 a year.
Groups that do not meet these two priorities can still apply but are less likely to be successful.
