Throughout the year, Hull CVS provides or hosts a range of short courses aimed at meeting the needs of voluntary and community groups and small businesses. The courses are provided at competitive rates and they try to offer as many as possible for free.

NCFE Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Prevent 

This course can take up to 10 weeks. Learn the principles of safeguarding and Prevent.  Designed primarily for individuals working with or intending to work with vulnerable adults in Health and Social Care Sectors.  It aims to give the learner knowledge on the key principles of safeguarding.

Learners must be 18 and be in current employment.  They must meet a criteria set by the provider in order to receive this course free of charge.  This course is online and will need you to have IT access.

To achieve the qualification, learners must be able to demonstrate all learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

NCFE Level 2 Award in Data Protection and Data Security 

This course can take up to 10 weeks. Learn the principles of safeguarding and Prevent. Designed primarily for individuals working with or intending to work with vulnerable adults in Health and Social Care Sectors. It aims to give the learner knowledge on the key principles of safeguarding.

NCFE Level 2 Award in Awareness of Mental Health 

This course can take up to 10 weeks. This course is designed for anyone looking to develop their understanding of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill health.

Although there are no specific qualifications to enter this course it may be useful to hold a level 1 qualification in mental health or health and social care.

Learners must be 18 and be in current employment.  They must meet a criteria set by the provider in order to receive this course free of charge.  This course is online and will need you to have IT access. To achieve the qualification, learners must be able to demonstrate all learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
