12th August 2022Hull: Did you witness a road traffic collision on Askew Avenue?

Humberside Police are appealing for the driver of a car involved in a collision with a cyclist at the junction of Norton Grove and Hayton Grove in Hull on Saturday 30 July.
At approximately 2:05pm it is reported that a teenager was cycling along when he was hit by what is described as a dark blue car. It is thought that the car may be a Volkswagen Polo or Golf.
The man driving the car briefly stopped at the scene following the collision although did not leave any details following the collision.
The boy was taken to hospital to receive treatment for a serious injury to his shoulder. Thankfully, his injury is not life threatening.
Humberside Police are now appealing for the driver of the car to come forward, they would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage in the area around this time, call their non-emergency number 101 quoting log 299 of 30 July.
