An E-Fit of a man police want to speak with in connection with an alleged incident of fraud in Hull has been released.

The suspect knocked on the door of a woman’s house on Pearson Park. He claimed he was a council contractor and her tree needed cutting down or she would be ‘in trouble’.

He demanded £300 off her and told her to stay in her house while he carried out the work. After a short period of time the woman, who is in her 70s, came out of her house and found the man had gone and no work had been done.

The incident happened on 28 December 2017 around 1.15pm.
