Hull: Eight charges in connection with £8,000 worth of goods stolen from shops

A 40-year-old man from Hull has been charged with eight counts of theft from shops in the Kingswood area of the city dating back to January of this year.

It’s all thanks to help from the public who came forward following an online appeal.

Martin Robson, 40, from Gatwick Garth in Hull faces the charges relating to the theft of various items including toothbrushes, handbags, perfume and electrical items. It’s thought the value of the goods stolen was over £8,000.

He’s already appeared at Hull Magistrates Court and is due to appear at Hull Crown Court in July.
