Hull: Equality & Diversity Event – Guildhall

NHS Hull and Hull City Council are working together to listen to people and communities who are often overlooked.

We would like to invite you to a workshop to work out how we can work better with you to find out what the communities you are involved with feel about health and care services.   Refreshments and lunch will be provided, there will also be an opportunity for networking

10:00 – 2:00pm, Wednesday 19th June, The Guildhall, Lowgate, Hull HU1 2AA Click Here for a map

The day will be looking at:

  • How we can support you, and how we can listen better to you and your community
  • What gaps we might have, are there groups we should be talking to
  • What are the barriers to people using services
  • What stops people giving their views, what would incentivise people to get involved

We know that people from different age groups, ethnic groups, religions, and sexualities access services in different ways, have different needs and sometimes have differing experiences of health and care.  We would like to build on previous equalities work to discuss how we can work together to listen to your views and hear about your experiences around access to health and care services.
