Hull FOE and Cyc Hull City Cycle Ride & Social

Cycle Ride: HFOE and CycHull City are getting together for a steady cycle ride to check out the new Cottingham to Hull route. They’ll be starting at Pearson Park at 12:30pm on Saturday 1st October heading towards Cottingham as far as West Bulls them coming back into Hull City Centre where we’ll pause at some key landmarks including Hull New Theatre, Murdoch’s Connection and Hull Pier. We’ll then head through the Old Town over Scale Lane Bridge for a social at Rooted In Hull’s urban farm.

The ride is suitable for all abilities and ages (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). The route is flat and mostly off-road or segregated from the traffic.

No need to book ahead but if you can indicate that you’re coming on our Facebook event that would help with planning.

Social at Rooted, St Peter Street, Hull HU9 1AA from 2pm-5pm. Hull Friends of the Earth, Rooted in Hull, CycHull, and Rights Community Action are hosting a social with pizza, drinks, activities as well as a band. The social will be a great opportunity to get to know more about green and community activities in the area, chat with friends, as well as share stories as part of an informal creative discussion that may lead to a future art/environmental project in the City. It would be great to see you there, and feel free to come to just the cycle ride before, or just the social (or both).
