Small grants are available to not-for-profit organisations in specified areas of the UK for community events and gatherings that enable people of different generations to get together through good food.

There are a limited number of grants of £150 available in 2020-21.
Extended Description
The Food for Life Get Togethers Small Grants scheme is provided with funding by the National Lottery Community Fund and administered by the Soil Association. The funding is intended for gatherings and events that connect different age groups together and represent diverse communities.
There is a particular focus on awarding grants to groups and organisations in the Food for Life Get Togethers ‘test and learn regions’ who may experience social and economic disadvantage.
Applications are currently being accepted in the following areas:
- West Midlands: Birmingham, Stoke on Trent, Walsall.
- East Midlands: Leicester City, Leicestershire, Nottingham
- Yorkshire and Humber: Hull, Calderdale, Kirklees, Sheffield.
- Greater Manchester: Rochdale, Salford, Wigan.
- Wales: Cardiff and Vale, Aneurin Bevan and Betsi Cadwaladr.
- Scotland: Glasgow, Inverclyde, Edinburgh.
- Northern Ireland: Belfast, Fermanagh and Omagh District, Newry, Mourne and Down District.
