Hull Local Plan to 2040!

The current Hull Local Plan was adopted in November 2017 and guides development in the city over a period of 16 years from 2016 – 2032.

This email is to notify you that the Council have commenced production of a new Local Plan. They have launched an engagement portal to gather peoples view on how they should proceed with developing the new plan, and behind this published a document ‘Hull Local Plan to 2040 – Beginning the Conversation’ (accessed via the portal) which provides more details of what they consider are the challenges and priorities that the new local plan will need to address .

They want to have an active and open conversation about the key challenges and priorities that the new Local Plan will need to address. For example, how they the tackle the climate and nature emergencies, meet their diverse housing needs, support good health, and create opportunities for all.
