7th September 2023Hull: Man arrested after 90 cannabis plants discovered at Bransholme address.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested, after police found 90 ‘cannabis’ plants at a Bransholme address.
Officers executed drugs warrant at a property on Welshpool Close on September 4th. They found what they believed to be cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £45,000 along with growing equipment.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivation of a class B drug. He remains in police custody.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “A 21-year-old man is in our custody after officers executed drugs warrant at an address on Welshpool Close in Hull on Monday 4 September. Upon searching the address, 90 of what is believed to be cannabis plants, worth an estimated street value of £45,000 was discovered, along with growing equipment.
“A man was detained at the scene for cultivation of a class B drug and remains in police custody whilst our lines of enquiry continue.
“All information about drug crime provided by our residents is taken extremely seriously, and we work tirelessly to hold those account for their actions.
