Officers have been in attendance at a Hull street this afternoon, Wednesday 26 June, after a man took to a roof.
A cordon was put in place to ensure the safety of everyone nearby and the public were advised to avoid the area where possible.
Chief Inspector Paul Butler said: “I am pleased to confirm that the incident on Brazil Street, Hull has been brought to a safe conclusion.
“A man has been arrested and is now in our custody.
“I would like to take this opportunity to offer my thanks to the local community for your support.
“Your patience and cooperation helped us bring the incident to a close with as little disruption to the area as possible.”
