Residents thanked for their understanding.
Following an incident on Spring Bank in Hull yesterday evening (23rd April) where there was a large police presence, police want to reassure the residents that it was an isolated incident and was contained within a flat, it was not thought to be of any threat to the wider public.
The reason police closed the street was to contain the situation and to allow officers to work in an environment that they could take any necessary action safely.
Humberside Police can now confirm that a 25 year-old Hull man has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill another man. He remains in custody at this time.
Police understand the concerns that people have about the incident and are providing local reassurance to residents. Police would like to thank local residents for their understanding and patience throughout and for anyone who may have had their travel plans disrupted as they dealt with the situation.
