Hull: Man arrested for interfering with motor vehicles

A 32-year-old man remains in police custody following his arrest in the early hours of this morning, Friday 4 September, on suspicion of interfering with motor vehicles.

A man was reported to have been seen on CCTV shining torches through car windows and trying handles on Gordon Street, Hull at approximately 1.30am. Patrol officers quickly arrived and a man was arrested.

Enquiries are continuing. Humberside Police would encourage anyone who spots someone acting suspiciously around vehicles to contact them on their non-emergency number 101.
