Hull: Man arrested for spitting at officer and drink driving

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving, dangerous driving, and assaulting a police officer following a road traffic collision on Newland Avenue in Hull.

It happened around 2.30am this morning Friday 18 January. A car ended up on its roof. 

A second car and a bollard were damaged in the incident. During the arrest an officer was allegedly spat at. 

The suspect is in custody.
