A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, assault, obstructing a police officer and escape from lawful custody in connection with an incident in Hull yesterday, Sunday 16 December.
Officers responded to reports of an assault at an address on Browning Close at around 9.45pm.
Shortly after they arrived, a man allegedly assaulted two officers in an attempt to escape custody. Police teams used a Taser to shine a red dot on the man before arresting him.
The two officers that were assaulted suffered minor injuries. The man was not injured in the incident.
He remains in custody at this time.
