Hull: Man charged following incident on Newland Court

30-year-old David Green of No Fixed Abode has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in a public place and criminal damage to a property following an incident on Newland Court, Hull in the early hours of Sunday 7 June.

Police received a report that a man had been stabbed multiple times in the arm and back at 3.14am. The injured man is being treated for serious injuries, however thankfully these are not thought to be life threatening.

Specialist officers, including armed officers and police negotiators attended an address on Brandon Court in Hull later yesterday morning where the suspect was located and arrested, after initially refusing to leave the house.

He was remanded to custody and is due to appear in court on 8th June.
