Hull: Man in hospital with serious injuries

Police have arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following an alleged fight in Hull.

Officers were called to Newington Street around 6am on 10th September. 

A 23-year-old man is currently in hospital with serious injuries that aren’t thought to be life threatening. 

The arrested man remains in custody.

The men were known to each other and there was no threat to the wider community.
