5th April 2023Hull: Mobility scooters stolen from retirement living community – can you help?
Police are appealing for help to identify those responsible for the theft of five mobility scooters from a retirement living gated community off Greenwood Avenue in Hull.
Between 7.20pm and 9.20pm on Tuesday 21 March four scooters were stolen then at 5.30pm on Wednesday 22 a further scooter was taken, when thieves forcibly broke into the premises.
Three male suspects are each described as: White, of medium height and slim build. He was wearing a dark gilet style jacket, slim style dark joggers, dark Adidas trainers with white sole and tongue, black Under Armour face covering; A tall man, of slim build, aged between 16 to 20 wearing a black hoodie with white leaf motif on the hood, dark jacket, dark slim joggers, black trainers; The third man is described as medium height and slim build, wearing a dark gilet style jacket, grey hooded top, grey slim style joggers, white Nike trainers.
If you are offered goods that you believe to be stolen, please let the police know. Handling stolen goods is a crime. Knowingly buying stolen goods is an offence. If you know anyone who is buying or selling stolen goods, call authorities on 101.
Police would appeal for anyone with information that would help them identify those involved and if anyone has been offered these stolen goods to call them on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 435 of 22 March 2023.
