Hull: Officer dismissed following misconduct hearing

PC Mark Baird has today been dismissed without notice after allegations he was verbally abusive and aggressive towards a Hull doorman were found proved at a misconduct hearing.

During the two day hearing, Mr Baird admitted that his actions during an off-duty night out in Newland Avenue on the night of Wednesday, November 8, last year did amount to gross misconduct.

His actions that night were found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour in respect of Discreditable Conduct.
