Hull: One arrested after burglary in progress

A man has been arrested after officers were called to reports of a theft in progress in Bransholme.

Police were called to a property in the Nidderdale area at around 3:30am this morning (Friday 27 May). On arrival, it was discovered that a man had attempted to break into a van.

A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and remains in police custody at this time.
