Hull: Ongoing incident on Walgrave Street

Police are in attendance at an ongoing incident on Walgrave Street in Hull following reports that a man was seen assaulting a woman and threatening her with what is described as a weapon.

There is a cordon in place in the area around a property and will remain there until the situation can be brought to a conclusion.

While police have contained the incident within a property they would advise people to avoid the area until it has been brought it to a safe conclusion.

We can confirm that the incident on Walgrave Street, Hull has now been brought to a safe conclusion.

One man has been arrested in connection with the incident, he remains in our custody at this time.
