Prince’s Trust are open to young people aged 11 to 30 from all over the UK – no matter if they have been facing some serious issues such as homelessness or if they’ve been in trouble with the law.
Working with delivery partners across the UK they offer hundreds of free courses, grants and mentoring opportunities to inspire young people to build their confidence and start a career. They will be there to support them to achieve their full potential.
Get into Marketing in partnership with We Are IVE and Magpie

The Prince’s Trust, in partnership with We Are IVE and Magpie, is offering a fantastic opportunity to explore the world of marketing and build key skills for future employment in the industry.
You can expect:
- Experience working with an ethical marketing company
- Training from industry experts in the principles of marketing
- To work on your own portfolio for use in future job applications
- Learn techniques to enhance creativity and resilience from IVE
- Up to six months ongoing support from The Prince’s Trust
- A chance to apply for a fixed-term work experience placement with Magpie

Get Started with Health and Social Care
Location: Online via Microsoft Teams, but vacancies are across Leeds
Programme: Tuesday 2nd March to Friday 5th March 2021
For: Those 18-30 who are not in education, employment or training
The Prince’s Trust, in partnership with employers across Leeds, is offering free online employability training, giving young people a fantastic opportunity to start a career within Health and Social Care.
You can expect:
- Interviews guaranteed for live vacancies at the end of the programme
- An introduction to life in health and social care, including possible roles and responsibilities
- Learning the values, skills, and attitudes that employers are looking for
- Online CV support and interview advice
- Six months mentoring support available
- No effect on your Universal Credit

Get Started with Health and Fitness with Humberside Fire and Rescue
Location: Virtual (Humber)
Taster Day: 10th March 2021 (Online – Microsoft Teams)
Programme: 15th – 19th March 2021
For: Those 16-30 who are not in education, employment or training
Get Started with Health and Fitness will focus on physical fitness and positive mental health and provide basic knowledge, understanding and individual coping strategies for the future. In partnership with Humberside Fire and Rescue, our Get Started with Health and Fitness programme will include:
- Mindfulness, building resilience and confidence building workshops
- Workout equipment delivered to your door
- A variety of fun exercise sessions as well as informative guest speakers
- Nutrition workshops and practical cooking sessions to make healthier life choices
- No effect on your Universal Credit

Are you looking to boost your employability skills or want to learn some tips and tricks to support your wellbeing?
We have a series of workshops to help young people with everything from resilience to money management, and from confidence to CV building.
Sessions run for an hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays on Microsoft Teams. You can attend one session or all of them.
