Part time Office Administrator / Receptionist

Salary: £10,647 gross per annum + pension contribution

Status: 22.5 hours per week (over three days)

Benefits: 25 days annual leave + public holidays pro rata

Area: Hull City Centre

Location: P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery Centre

Key Criteria: Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification relevant to the post.

Job Role:

P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery is a growing local charity that exists to support anyone affected by brain injury. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Office Administrator / Receptionist to work in the dynamic environment of the P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery Centre, to assist with the daily running of the office.

They are seeking an enthusiastic, driven individual that is able to be proactive and work under their own initiative.Applicants will be expected to have previous experience of working in a busy office environment and have the ability to display a high standard of communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.Applicants should be self-motivated and a committed team player with the ability to work individually. The ability to maintain a calm, positive and flexible approach to your work is essential, as is the ability to use initiative when dealing with unexpected situations.

Some of the main duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing client bookings and appointments
  • General reception and admin duties
  • handling correspondence
  • producing agendas and minutes
  • Organising meetings for staff/service users outings
  • Filing
  • Liaising with relevant organisations
  • Supporting fundraising events
  • Stock taking
  • Undertaking mail-shots and similar publicity tasks
  • Implementing new IT/administrative systems
  • Producing content for and scheduling social media posts
  • Creating posters to promote events/activities

Key skills:

  • High level of administrative skills (min Level 2 or equivalent)
