Hull: Rusholme Wind Farm Fund

The Rusholme Wind Farm Community Fund is designed to help the parish communities that surround the 12 wind turbines placed in between Selby and Goole in 2010. The turbines began to generate power in August 2010 and have donated £1,000 per mega watt of energy to the scheme since then.

The Fund is administered by the Two Ridings Community Foundation.

Grants of between £200 and £5,000 are available.

Grants of up to £15,000 may be available for exceptional projects that demonstrate significant community benefit.

There are no deadlines. Applications will be accepted throughout the year. Groups will be notified of decisions within eight to ten weeks of receipt of completed application form.
