Hull: Teen charged with robbery and burglary

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged yesterday with burglary and robbery in connection with two incidents in the Avenues area of Hull on Wednesday 19 August. 

He was remanded in custody over night to appear at Hull Magistrates Court on Monday 24 August. 

Shortly after midnight on Wednesday 19 August a robbery was reported on Princes Avenue, Hull. It was reported that a woman was in the street when she was approached by a group who assaulted her before taking her phone.

A couple of hours later it was reported that someone broke into an address on St Ninians walk and stole a bike and a laptop from inside.
