Hull: Teen in custody after Barham Road collision

An 18-year-old is in custody after coming forward in relation to an incident on Barham Road, Hull on Wednesday 7 September.

Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a moped and a child at around 3:15pm. It was reported that the moped rider failed to stop at the scene.

The child has been treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A teenager was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody at this time.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area to contact them on 101, quoting log 325 of 7 September.
