A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an incident in Hull where lumps of clay were thrown at a group of people from a motorbike.

Log 174 of 16/05/19 refers.
Sergeant Derek Hussain who is leading Operation Yellowfin said: “This was a stupid and reckless thing to do. Throwing any object at people is mindless and can potentially be dangerous. On this occasion no-one was hurt.
“Recently we have increased the profile of our work we’re doing for Operation Yellowfin in and around Hull. It’s our ongoing operation to tackle all sorts of motorbike enabled crime.
“We have a dedicated team for Operation Yellowfin who are constantly looking out for individuals who think they can get away with committing crime like this.
“This just shows that they can’t. The bike was easily spotted and this boy was identified and quickly arrested. He’s now in custody. We’re now looking for the rider of the bike.
“We do not and will not put up with antisocial behaviour like this.”
