3rd May 2019Hull: Teenage scooter rider charged for damage to police car

A 15-year-old boy from north Hull has been charged with four offences relating to the damage of a police car during an incident on Ferensway in Hull last month.
The boy, who can’t be named because of his age, has been charged with damage to police property (namely a police car), riding a motorcycle dangerously, riding without the correct licence and riding without insurance.
The charges relate to an incident in Hull city centre on 11 April 2019.
He’s also been charged with being found in an enclosed area in Woodmansey for the purposes of burglary under the Vagrancy Act 1824, and for failing to stop while riding a motorbike in Hull after being required to do so by a police officer.
