Hull: The Pennas’ 50th Celebration event on Pearson Park

On Saturday 6 July, there will be an event on Pearson Park to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the Penna family’s arrival in the park’s ice cream kiosk.

The event will start at 1.30pm until 4.30pm with lots of activities taking place.

This is a free event with a magician and crafts and for those with a keen interest in history, this is a unique opportunity to learn about the family’s 130 years in Hull; how they began their business and continued to thrive despite the impact from the wars.

They are also looking to collect some ice cream memories that people may have on Pearson Park.
