More than £5,000 worth of sentimental jewellery that was stolen during a house burglary has been recovered by officers.
The burglary happened at a property on Cottingham Road in Hull between 7.30pm and 10.15pm on Wednesday 7 August.
The jewellery and several bank cards were taken from an upstairs room while the 72-year-old house owner was at home.
Following enquiries the jewellery was later found at an address on Beverley Road in Hull two days later and returned to the owner.
Police are still looking for a suspect in connection with this.
