2nd November 2022Hull: Three arrested after car stopped on Anlaby Road
Three people have been arrested after officers stopped a car on Thursday 27 October on Anlaby Road, Hull at around 11:45pm.
Officers from the Roads Crime Team are reported to have spotted a blue Ford Focus acting suspiciously along the A63 eastbound, before stopping the vehicle on Anlaby Road, Hull.
Upon searching the car, officers are reported to have discovered a bladed weapon and a large amount of cash.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of an offensive weapon, a 23-year-old man and a 19-year old woman were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The woman has since been released and both men remain in police custody whilst enquiries continue.
