Hull: Tools recovered and returned to rightful owner

A man was arrested on Friday 8 April following a burglary at a house on Beckdale, off Holwell Road, that morning.

Officers attended the victim’s address on Beckdale who had suffered from someone breaking into their outside store and sheds.  Several garden tools and items were taken away using the victim’s wheely bin.

Following the incident, information was received via social media of a possible suspect.

Officers went to the home of a 24-year-old Hull man and found a number of stolen items and evidence.

The man was arrested, and the stolen items were returned to a very grateful victim.

The 24-year-old suspect has been released on bail as we continue our enquiries.
