Hull: Transforming Lives Course

Hull and East Yorkshire Mind have partnered up with Child Dynamix to develop a FREE two-part training workshop for everyone who may impact on the lives of Children who are Looked After.

The aim is to raise the aspirations and expectations of Children who are Looked After.

The morning workshop will focus on raising the aspirations of the workforce supporting Children who are Looked After aged 10 to 14 years and how best to improve emotional health, resilience, self-efficacy and confidence for this group of children.

The afternoon workshop will focus on the transition from school and beyond into the workplace for Children who are Looked After aged 14 to 19 years, and how to best raise expectations for this group of young people.

Places are on a first come first served basis and all participants will receive a certificate on completion. The sessions last a full day (9:30am – 4:00pm) and a buffet lunch is provided.
