Hull: Two arrested and over £100,000 worth of cannabis seized

An estimated £102,000 worth of cannabis has been seized after officers from #OpGalaxy executed two misuse of drugs act warrants yesterday (Thursday 16 February) on James Reckitt Avenue and Brecon Street in Hull.

Upon entering the properties officers discovered a large number of cannabis plants alongside a quantity of cash, electricity had also been abstracted.

A 29-year-old woman and 32-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity without authority.

They have both been released under investigation whilst officers continue to conduct lines of enquiry.
