Hull: Two detained following criminal damage at school

An investigation was launched following reports of criminal damage at a school on Dulverton Close, Hull on Saturday 25 July. 

The police were called at around 4.30pm with reports of two boys on the roof of the building, officers quickly attended and two 11-year-olds were detained within ten minutes of the original call.  The investigation into the damage is continuing and the police will be working with the boys, their families and the school to identify a suitable community resolution.  

Anti-social behaviour and criminal damage of this nature will not be tolerated and the local neighbourhood team will be working with the school and the local community to try and prevent any further issues.
