A 32-year-old Hull man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of Class B drugs following a break-in at a house in Victoria Dock, Hull, this morning. (Friday, October 12)
Police were called to Plimsol Way shortly before 3.45am, after the occupants were woken by a loud noise and found two men in the house – who fled the area on pushbikes.
Upon arrival, it was found that items had also been stolen from a car parked at a neighbouring property.
The 32-year-old suspect was arrested nearby and remains in our custody. A second man is believed to have fled towards Railway Street.
Detective Inspector Rich Osgerby said: “We’re now working to find the second man, so if you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area – or you have CCTV that might have captured the men – please get in touch with us.
“The suspect is white and was wearing a dark coloured hat, light grey jacket and dark jeans.”
