Hull: Woman arrested following death of a man on Dodthorpe

An investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found at an address on Dodthorpe in Hull shortly before 1am on Saturday 9 November.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder, she remains in police custody at this time.

The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Detective Chief Inspector Christine Calvert: “We do believe this to be an isolated incident with no risk to the wider public.

“Officers will be in the area today to offer reassurance to the local community, if you have any concerns please stop and speak to them.”

Detectives ask anyone with any information that may help their investigations to call the non-emergency 101 line quoting log 21 of 09/11/19.
