Hull’s HENRY Programme

HENRY programme supports Hull families with children aged from 0 to 11 
Everyone wants the best for their children, but it can be hard to know what to do as a parent. That’s where HENRY comes in. The HENRY programme is an 8-week programme for parents and carers with children aged 0 – 5 and 5 – 11 delivered across Hull’s Family Hubs. The HENRY programme is free to join and helps you give your child the best possible start in life. Courses are delivered in person at local Family Hubs, local venues and online which can be accessed via phone, tablet, and laptop. 

Next year’s HENRY courses are scheduled as follows: 
HENRY Right from the Start Programme: An 8-week programme for parents and carers with children aged 0 – 5. 

• Venue: Priory Family Hub. Starts Wednesday 17 January 2024, 9.30 – 11.30am 
• Venue: Longhill Family Hub. Starts Friday 19 January 2024, 9.30 – 11.30am 
• Venue: Parks Family Hub. Starts Wednesday 28 February 2024, 1.00 – 2.45pm 

HENRY Healthy Families Growing Up Programme: An 8-week programme for parents and carers with children aged 5 -11. 

• Venue: Lemon Tree Family Hub. Starts Tuesday 16 January 2024, 10am – 12pm 
• Venue: Little Stars Family Hub. Starts Thursday 11 January 2024, 10am – 12pm 
• Venue: Parks Family Hub. Starts Thursday 25 January 2024, 9.30 am – 11.30 am 

Eat Well for Less workshop: Explore budgeting, healthy meals, cost saving ideas, shopping tips and more. 

• Online workshop – this can be accessed via phone, tablet and laptop on Tuesday 9 January, 10.30 – 11.30am and Wednesday 17 January, 6.00 – 7.30pm (email to register your interest) 
• Fenchurch Family Hub. Monday 5 February, 1.00 – 2.00pm 
• Rainbow Family Hub. Wednesday 13 March, 10.00 – 11.00am 

Starting Solid Foods (0 – 8 months) workshop: Designed to help you decide when your baby is ready to try solid food, what to start with, when your baby is hungry and when they’ve had enough. 

• Fenchurch Family Hub. Wednesday 7 February, 11.00am – 12.00pm 
• Mersey Family Hub. Thursday 8 February, 10.00 – 11.00am and Thursday 21 March, 10.00 – 11.00am
