Objectives of Fund
The funding is for projects that will contribute to reducing crime/antisocial behaviour and/or improving community safety, supporting the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan (2024-2029), which has three aims:
- Engaged, Resilient and Inclusive Communities.
- Safer Communities.
- Effective Organisations.
There is particular interest in projects which can demonstrate a contribution to delivering multiple objectives of the Police and Crime Plan.
Value Notes
There is a funding pot of £1.6 million between 2025/26 and 2028/29.
There are two levels of funding available:
- Small grants: £500 to £5,000 (maximum project size £25,000).
- Medium grants: £5,001 to £35,000 (maximum project size £175,000).
In exceptional cases the PCC may be able to provide funding greater than £35,000 to strategically important projects that will have a substantial impact on communities.
