Now in its 29th year, Humberside Police’s Lifestyle initiative aims to promote positivity, teamwork and community ownership. Taking place during the summer holiday, teams of young people aged 10 to 18 years old are encouraged to make a difference by taking part in community activities.
There are a host of fantastic prizes on offer for the most innovative and successful projects undertaken. These include: a week in South Africa, a trip to Disneyland Paris, UK adventure holidays, days out at Flamingo Land and Tockwith Racecourse and many more.
Chief Constable Lee Freeman said: “Lifestyle is a really important project and one that I am incredibly proud of. The projects delivered by young people for their communities are very impressive and show what hard work and innovation can achieve. I hope that this year’s Lifestyle will prove equally popular.”
Aged 10-18 and fancy making a difference in your community and potentially winning a fantastic prize? Then look out for our PCSOs who will be visiting schools and colleges to promote Lifestyle 2018.
