Choices and Rights Disability Coalition are looking to employ a worker to assist disabled people and parents/guardians of disabled children to use Direct Payments to organise their own care provision.
The Independent Living Worker will be responsible for explaining the whole process from the assessment stage to assisting people in becoming employer’s in their own right.
They will also be required to provide training/presentations and advice on Direct Payments to both the voluntary and statutory sector.
The role is mainly based in the Bransholme office, but you will need to be a car driver/owner in order to complete home visit support sessions.
Mileage will be paid a rate of 40p per mile, in order to cover these costs.
Location: Hull – Community outreach
Hours: 35 per week(Monday-Friday)
Rate of pay: £24515 per annum
