Victim Support are offering a FREE information webinar about the iMatter programme – a programme for women who have experienced domestic abuse between 10am and 11am on Friday 10th December.
The webinar will take place over Zoom and is suitable for women interested in joining the iMatter programme (full details below) or professionals who would like to know how the programme can help the women you are working with.
During the webinar you will hear from:

· Our Journey Survivors Forum members – hear testimonies from women who have completed the programme.
About iMatter
The iMatter Programme is currently available to women over the age of 16 in England and Wales. It is a 10 week group online programme aimed at women aged 16 and over, who have experienced domestic abuse and would like support.
It is designed for groups of up to 12 women and sessions will last 1.5 hours on a weekly basis. The programme discusses healthy relationships as a whole, which helps to build skills for the future. There is a focus is on self-care and self-worth.
Two specially trained Victim Support staff facilitate the programme and guide participants through a variety of topics focusing on healthy relationships. The programme is delivered in English, Bengali, Guajarati, Polish, Urdu and Welsh by facilitators who speak the language. There are also specialist programmes for LGBTQ+ women and young women aged 16-25.
