Join local ward councillors, and staff from Hull City Council and BAMEEN (Black and Minority Ethnic Environment Network)
This is a special event to celebrate local resident Dawda Jatta, founder of BAMEEN, being awarded an MBE for services to recycling and energy saving in Hull.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the Greenwood Avenue Library at 10am on 21st September where they will be provided with litter picking equipment, gloves and rubbish bags.
From 1pm volunteers are invited back to the Library for refreshments
