Join Hull’s UK Recovery Walk – Everything You Need to Know.

The UK Recovery Walk 2023 in Hull will take place on September 23rd. Thousands of people will participate in a walk through the city centre to mark the occasion.

The walk, organised by Faces and Voices of Recovery (FAVOR UK), is held every September as part of International Recovery Month.

As part of International Recovery Month, this initiative aims to spotlight the accomplishments and resilience of individuals who have conquered addiction. It also emphasises the significance of support and treatment for those in recovery.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. The walk will start at 12:00pm from Zebedee’s Yard. It is recommended to arrive no later than 11:30am.

To minimise stress and ensure timely arrival, we suggest traveling early and securing preferred parking at the event.

The walking route spans approximately two miles, guiding you through Hull City Centre. The walk starts and concludes at Zebedee’s Yard, featuring entertainment along the way.

Following the walk, a ‘Recovery Village‘ will be available at Zebedee’s Yard, providing information, education, public speakers, and special guests. A marquee will be set up, offering advice and information, while music and band acts will perform throughout the event.

Car parking availability will be based on the situation upon your arrival. However, we have identified several pay and display car parks near the event for your convenience:

• Osborne Street Car Park – HU1 2QA – 6-minute walk to the destination, offering 62 spaces.
• Princes Quay Car Park – HU1 2NL – 2-minute walk to the destination, providing 900 spaces.
• King William House Car Park – HU1 1RS – 8-minute walk to the destination, with 611 spaces.
• Marina Car Park – HU1 1UD – 11-minute walk to the destination, featuring 25 spaces.
