28th September 2021Join in with the Hull Walk for Freedom

Together Freedom Festival, the Wilberforce Institute and Hull University Anti-Slavery society have organised their own walk for freedom to mark Anti-Slavery day 2021.
The walk will take place on October the 16th at 11am and will take approximately 1 hour. They would love as many of you and your family/friends to sign up as possible and show your support in raising awareness of trafficked and enslaved people around the globe.
Here is the link to the Walk for Freedom Hull page. https://www.a21.org//shop-event.php?intid=3034.
Meeting point: Wilberforce Monument. Walk will proceed towards the Wilberforce House Museum and the Old Town and then into the Fruit Market area and marina, looping round the city centre, before ending up in Queens Gardens. It is a 2 mile route which is fairly flat except for the Murdoch Connection bridge which has ramps as an alternative to the stairs.
A21 ask that everyone over the age of 13 registers for the walk. We really want to show our support for, and raise awareness of all the amazing Anti-Slavery efforts here in Humberside and around the world by having a great turn out for our walk. Please do share with friends and family young and old and sign up if you can. While you’re in Hull you could take the time to visit our excellent museum quarter which includes Wilberforce House museum.
