5th April 2024Join The Deep for ‘Nature in Action’ activities until April 14th
Spring into action this spring as The Deep celebrates the incredible wildlife and native species thriving in our local area!
From the 23rd March- 14th April, join The Deep for Nature in Action, where they have been exploring everything from butterflies and bees, to bats and beetles!
Discover more about how you can get involved with spotting nature around the city, by using the iNaturalist app and how to take part in the City Nature Challenge. Learn about the conservation efforts the Crew are carrying out to save the rare Tansy Beetle, a species native to the banks of York’s River Ouse.
This event is proudly supported by two fantastic charities, Mires Beck Nursery and The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).
The Nature in Action event is included within the standard admission; no additional booking is required. Visitors are highly advised to book their visit in advance.
Chat to the team from RPSB Bempton Cliffs to find out more about the actions you can take to save nature. They will be on the 3rd floor by the entrance turnstile with their Nature on a Table stand on the following dates:
5th, 9th & 12th April
