17th July 2020Join us for Modern Day Slavery & Wildlife Chat sessions

Some of you may have joined us by being involved with our online ‘Keep Connected’ Zoom sessions over the past few months. These sessions are providing opportunities for NHW members and wider communities to advance their knowledge in all things such as crime prevention & fraud to allotment security & social media. Our aim is to provide as much information to our members enabling you to feel better informed and to be much more aware of falling victim to any potential crimes.
We are very pleased that we have now got a further two new sessions booked in for August.
Monday 3rd August at 10.30am
Modern Day Slavery Awareness – Presented by Andrew Smith from the Humber Modern Slavery Partnership.
Andrew will be discussing just what Modern Day Slavery looks like, who it affects, why it happens and what we can do about it. He will also provide us with the signs to spot and how to report any suspected information to help put an end to Modern Day Slavery.

Wildlife Talk – This chat will be held by Andrew Gibson of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
Andrew will be hosting an informal chat giving attendees the opportunity to bring to the table any questions you may have relating to all things wildlife! If have are in need of information on how to deal with birds nesting, hedgehog homes, pondlife or are wanting to know how to bring more wildlife into your garden Andrew would love to hear your questions.
