Together Women provides holistic services to women and girls with multiple and complex issues across Yorkshire, Humberside and the North West of England. They have women’s centres in Leeds; Bradford; Hull; Sheffield; and HMP New Hall
Their centres host co-located staff from other agencies (e.g. probation, alcohol/drug treatment, housing etc.) and they work closely with statutory partners in criminal justice, health and social care.
This role is to lead in the delivery of their probation contract to Bridlington and Beverley women based within a partner organisations premises.
The successful applicant will engage with and provide intensive support to women referred in to our service by the Probation Service.
The women referred will be offered an holistic response to their issues and in particular will focus around 8 key areas:
1] Accommodation,
2] Education Training & Employment [ETE],
3] Finance Benefits & Debts,
4] Dependency and Recovery,
5] Family and Significant others,
6] Lifestyle & Associates,
7] Emotional Wellbeing and
8] Social Inclusion.
Together Women aims to raise aspirations and build confidence and self-esteem, which will then reduce reoffending.
The successful applicant will be an experienced key worker. She will be expected to be proactive in building a network of partners who can offer specialist support to the women that they are working with, develop their knowledge of relevant service provision that can be helpful to the women and be proactive in driving the service forward.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work independently on a peripatetic basis.
